Using the Engraving Special Effect Texture File

  1. Open a file of choice
  2. (Optional) Isolate the subject from the background.
  3. (Optional) Add a unique pattern or background on a new layer and change the layer mode to Saturation. Experiment with other layer modes as well. Each design creates unique effects.
  4. Put the “isolated” copy of your subject above that Pattern layer.
  5. Add a Black & White Adjustment Layer
  6. Add the “Engraving6000” Texture file on top and change the layer mode to Vivid Light.
